Why we exist

Most "best software" lists are thinly veiled ads. A vendor writes a check, a blog writes a ranking, and the owner of a two-truck plumbing shop ends up paying $400/month for a product meant for 50-tech enterprises.

We built reviewbook for a narrower job: synthesize what vendor pricing pages don't advertise, what trade operators actually say in the forums, and what the contract fine print locks you into. Then turn that into opinionated recommendations with named winners.

How we make money

When you sign up for a product through a link on reviewbook, the vendor may pay us a referral commission — just like any retailer pays Amazon when you buy through an Amazon link. That commission never changes what we recommend. Our rankings are driven by observable pricing, feature gaps, and operator sentiment — not who pays the most.
