Privacy policy

This policy explains what information reviewbook ("we", "us") collects when you visit the site, and what we do with it. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please don't use the site.

What we collect

Automatically, when you visit any page

  • Anonymous analytics via Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We see aggregate pageviews, referrers, countries, and device types — not individual visitors.
  • Affiliate click events: when you click an affiliate CTA that routes through /go/[tool-slug], we log the tool, the referring page, an anonymized user-agent hash, an anonymized session ID (short-lived, not tied to your identity), and your country. We don't log your IP address. We use this data solely to reconcile conversion reports from affiliate networks.

When you actively submit information

  • Quizzes and calculators: your answers, only used to produce a result for you in-session. No data is stored server-side unless you explicitly opt in to email delivery.

What we don't collect

  • We don't sell or rent personal information.
  • We don't run retargeting pixels from Meta, Google, or other ad networks.
  • We don't run display ads that set third-party tracking cookies.

Cookies

We set a single first-party cookie named rb_sid (short-lived session ID, expires in 30 days) to de-duplicate affiliate click tracking. No analytics cookies; no advertising cookies.

How long we keep data

  • Click logs: 18 months, then aggregated and anonymized.

Your rights

Under GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California), you have the right to:

  • Access what we store about you
  • Request deletion
  • Opt out of any future sales (we don't sell — this is belt-and-suspenders)

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@reviewbook.app. We'll respond within 30 days.

Affiliate networks

When you click an affiliate CTA and are redirected to a vendor (e.g., ServiceTitan's site), the vendor's privacy policy and cookies apply — we have no control over what happens once you leave our site.

Children

reviewbook is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll post a notice on the homepage for 30 days.
