Editorial policy
Independence
No vendor has editorial input on a reviewbook review, comparison, or ranking. Vendors cannot pay for higher placement. Vendors cannot review drafts before publication. If a vendor declines to work with us on an affiliate basis, that has zero effect on whether or how we cover them.
Affiliate links and commissions
Some links on reviewbook route through affiliate networks (Impact, CJ, Partnerstack, Awin) and pay us a commission when a reader signs up for the linked product. Affiliate commissions:
- Do not affect our rankings
- Do not affect our scores
- Do not affect which tools we cover
We link to tools we'd recommend regardless of commission, and we link to competitors (also via affiliate) on every review because the honest answer is often "this product isn't right for you." See the affiliate disclosure for the full list of networks and programs.
Corrections and updates
- Factual errors: corrected within 24 hours of confirmation. A correction note is added to the bottom of the page.
- Pricing changes: detected via monthly crawl; page is updated within 7 days.
- Material product changes: re-reviewed and published within 30 days.
Conflicts of interest
If a member of the editorial team has a financial relationship with a vendor outside of the standard affiliate programs (consulting, equity, employment), that person is recused from coverage of that vendor and the disclosure is noted on the relevant pages.
Sponsored content
We do not publish sponsored posts, paid guest articles, or "native advertising." If we ever introduce a sponsored format, it will be clearly labeled as sponsored and segregated from editorial content.
AI assistance
We use AI tools (including Anthropic's Claude) to help draft structure and first passes of research-heavy content. Every page is edited by a human reviewer before publication — we verify facts, correct hallucinations, add judgment, and update pricing against current vendor pages. No review, comparison, or ranking is published without a human editor signing off.
If you find content that reads like it was auto-generated and not edited, or if a price, claim, or link is wrong — email corrections@reviewbook.app. We aim to respond within 7 days and issue corrections with a visible "Updated" note on the affected page.
